For the second time in less than 6 months Chrischurch has suffered another devastating soul destroying earthquake.
The first one on the 4th September on 2010 destryed or partially destroyed many important businesses and old Heritage buildings in the central City.
The Council and the USAR people swung into action immediately as there was no water, or sewerage links. These had of course been broken by the force of the quake which was 7.1 on the Richter scale.

Those few Videos will give you a comparison of what it was like during the September Quake.
As you will see only 2 people were injured! However this way over 140 are confirmed dead so far, plus several 100's injured, some very seriously.
I will give you another video here to allow you to see the difference to our once beautiful Garden City as it's known all round the World.
That will show you why I have made this site particularly for seeking donations from anyone prepared to help our people.
There are still over 50,000 homes without water or power or sewerage necessities. Even Port-a-loos, (removable toilets) are so scarce they are having to bring them in from other countries.
Please help as we are a small country population wise, and this is totally beyond our reach to cover all the costs to get people back on their feet again, and also the horrendous costs of infra-structure, plus businesses completely wiped out, no jobs for people to go to.
